The legacy of Sanbos began with three brothers who made their way to Scotland to learn how whisky was made. They knew that whisky comes from malted barley that is brewed, fermented, distilled and then aged. What they soon discovered is that whisky is also a reflection of the Celtic landscape and its people. Whisky is more than just a drink; it is a tradition. The Sanbos family considers itself an ambassador of this tradition. As the three brothers came to understand, whisky production requires the patience of a skilled artisan and the creativity of a poet. In addition to selecting the best grains and the purest of water, one must synergise knowledge with intuition in order to transform the tangible factors of production into unique flavour profiles. Like a work of art that bespeaks the soul of the artist, whisky bears traces of the territory from which it emerged. We at Sanbos continue to appreciate the lessons that the three brothers have brought home. For over 25 years, we have produced quality-grade blended whisky. Additionally, we have incorporated all the elements of modernization in the bottling of our products, making us a leading producer of fine ad-mix spirits in the country.
